Dance (Praticable) is a dance piece that can be performed as a solo or as a group piece. It is based on a score written by Frédéric Gies. The interpreters of the score become co-author of the choreography.

The score of Dance (Praticable) can be downloaded for free on this web site. A collection of texts about this work, by Bojana Cvejic, Frédéric Gies, Simon Hecquet, Sabine Prokhoris and Petra Sabisch, is also available here. These texts, that shed light on certain aspects of the whole project, can be considered as another tool for the interpretation of the score. The score, as well as the collection of texts, are under the creative commons license:

This license doesn’t concern the piece. It means that the piece (the performance of the score) can be sold and used for commercial purposes without the control or agreement of Frédéric Gies.

Interpreters of the score are invited to inform us about the places and dates of their performance, and to give their names in order to be added to the list of co-authors on this web site.
